Hawke 753 Barrier gland
Dual certified exe/Exd barrier gland, providing a seal around individual cable cores, especially for cables that exhibit “cold flow” characteristics, are not effectively filled or have hygroscopic fillers. For use with braid armoured marine shipboard jacketed or non-jacketed cables. The 753 is available with either ExPress liquid barrier resin or QSP 2-part hand mix compound, both with a cure time of 30 minutes

    Hawke 501/453 Universal gland
    The 501/453 Universal Cable Gland is dual certified Exe/Exd, robust and for use with single wire armour ‘W’, wire braid ‘X’, steel tape armour ‘Z’, elastomer and plastic insulated cables. For particular use with cables that exhibit 'Cold Flow' characteristics.

    Hawke RCG Cable Gland Connector Series

    The 501/RCG is certified Exe/Ext, and can be used for quick field connection of cables to equipment where
    historically hard wiring methods are used. The product offers cost savings when carrying out essential
    inspection and maintenance activities, including the capability to quickly swap out equipment on-site.

    The 501/RCG combines the proven technology of the award winning 501 series cable gland with an integral connector to allow quick change out of devices in the field to eliminate the need for field wiring and time consuming removal of a traditional cable gland for Ex applications.

    Hawke 476 Series of adapters/reducers
    Flameproof Exd / Increased Safety Exe / Dual Certified ATEX - IECEx adaptor/reducer
    • M12 to M130 (3/8" NPT to 6" NPT) as standard.
    • Other thread options available on request, including BSPP, BSPTr, PG, ET, NPT and NPSM.
    • Up to two step thread sizes above the male thread on the adaptor is permitted.

    The 476 is manufactured in Brass, Nickel Plated Brass, Steel, Nickel Plated Steel and Stainless Steel. (Aluminium for Group II use only).

    Hawke 489 Series breather/drain fittings
    The Hawke 489 series of breather drains are to allow condensation to drain out of an increased safety enclosure subjected to high moisture content and high humidity environments. The Breather Drain may only be fitted to the underside of Exd enclosures with internal volumes of 2.5 litres or less.
    • Nitrile O Ring supplied as standard, silicone option available.
    • M20 and M25 with 1.5mm pitch as standard.
    • Other thread options available on request, including BSPP, PG, NPT, ET and NPSM.

    Hawke 493 Swivel adapter fitting
